In a generic suburb, somewhere in the long frozen country called Sweden, a confused and somewhat frustrated Johan Nerman is sitting alone in his living-room. He’s feeling puzzled by a dreamlike encounter with a famous Hollywood actor that had occurred earlier on that same morning. At this very moment, he is doing his very best to figure out if he had in fact met the actor or if it all had been a dream. In order to clear his head, he decides to head out for a walk. Leaving the noise of utensils grinding against plates from the kitchen, he leaves without a word.
Walking past the derelict buildings which used to be a hospital once, he had his course set for the forest that loomed behind them. Upon reaching it, not more than a few minutes later, he is suddenly overwhelmed by a eerie feeling that something out of the ordinary is about to happen. Driven by what might seem like madness, he pushes on in a higher pace throughout the wooden hallways. Before he knows it, he’s standing in a small opening. He was quite sure it had never been there before. It’s filled with fog, and the sky’s getting darker. In the middle of it, a man-sized stone stands tall. As he moves up to investigate the strange object, he suddenly see how it’s transforming. Thinking that his eyes are playing tricks on him, he approaches it further. Before, there had been room for doubts, now there was no question. Before him stands not a stone, but no other than Bruce Willis himself.
“In this archive,” he said, “is caught the light of Willis’ stardom, set amid the waters of my fame. It will sound still higher when night is about you. May it be a light to you in dark places, when all other lights go out.” says Bruce Willis, pointing at what appears to be yonder. With the blink of an eye, the image of Bruce is gone and all that is left is the same, cold, dead stone. Whilst searching the gloomy area he’d been pointed to with trembling fingers for quite some time, Johan Nerman suddenly stumbles upon this link. Overwhelmed by curiosity, he daringly clicks on it – completely unknowing of the life-changing chain of events that he just set in motion.
Years after, Johan Nerman was a changed man. No troubles could ever find their way back into his once so frail mind. He still often thinks about that evening in late autumn, wondering still if was it real of not. As it turns out, this moment had in fact been the most real thing he had ever experienced.
